# Clan Setup

**Clan** are where users **trade together in Telegram group chats**. To set up a clan, you’ll need to **create a Telegram group and invite Bonzibot**.

### **How to Set Up a Clan**

**1️⃣** Create a Telegram Group\
**2️⃣** Invite Bonzibot to Your Telegram Group\
**3️⃣** Type`/createclan`in the group you want to create the clan

### &#x20;**How to Get Members to Join the Clan**

1️⃣ Join the Telegram Group (If the group is private, have the group leader send you an invite link)\
2️⃣ Type `/joinclan`in the group you want to join the clan

### **How to Leave a Clan**

1️⃣ Go to your private chat with Bonzibot\
2️⃣ Type`/leaveclan`in your private chat\
3️⃣ Success message prompting that you have left the clan

💡 **How it works:** Clans and Telegram Groups work independently. If a user leaves the clan, they would still be inside the Telegram Group. (But their trades will stop contributing to the clan) To remove the user from the group completely, the group admin will have to kick the user out of the group.
